Let your certification work for you! The American Board of Imaging Informatics has teamed up with SIIM to present dedicated sessions for the Certified Imaging Informatics Professional. These dedicated sessions are designed to provide advanced level practical knowledge. No theory of or research discussions. Only real information that you can use in your institution or business the minute you get back.
The CIIP Forum will include the following presentations:
Data migration
What to watch out for, common pitfalls, as well as potential benefits and limitations of data migration from one system to another.
HL7
How you can actually use the information and potential of Health Level 7 to allow intercommunication among multiple systems.
Clinical application
Learn how and why end users utilize clinical applications to affect patient outcomes.
Image interpretation
Hear from the radiologist perspective the actual impact of our jobs on the diagnoses and treatment of patients.
The session will close with presentations of the American Board of Imaging Informatics. This is your chance to make your voice heard and help guide the profession. The Board will provide an update on the status of certification as well as provide a roadmap to the efforts underway to advance the IIP profession.
