SIIM 2010 Corporate Partners to Address Practitioner ‘Pain Points’ in New Vendor Tie-in Sessions

SIIM is taking the lead in establishing innovative programming and applied learning opportunities with new vendor tie-in sessions at SIIM 2010. The initiative will be beneficial to all meeting attendees, as it will integrate the educational sessions with the exhibiting companies and maximize the flow between the educational program and the exhibit hall.

According to Program Committee Chair Kathy Andriole, "The new session format highlights one of the cornerstones of the SIIM experience: the personal interaction and networking opportunities between thought leaders, attendees and industry exhibitors." Tie-in sessions are specific to and part of the educational sessions.

Each of the Applied Learning sessions for these tracks will feature 50 minutes of continuing education-approved traditional learning followed by 30 minutes of non-continuing education vendor participation. The content of the tie-in sessions will expand on the continuing education presentation of the applied learning session.
