SIIM Is Taking the Lead in Establishing Innovative Programming through Integrated Learning Activities
 

The SIIM 2010 annual meeting has been planned with a strong emphasis in creating an intellectual link between the education program and the technical exhibits. These new activities will highlight one of the cornerstones of the SIIM experience: the opportunity for personal interaction, exchange, and networking among attendees and exhibitors. Explore the many new activities that are taking place connecting the technical exhibits to the educational program presentations throughout the meeting.

 
Vendor Tie-In Sessions
 
An innovative addition to the educational sessions – “vendor tie-in” sessions will allow for sharing of corporate vision in context with the educational material. Attendees will be exposed to the practical aspects of implementing new technologies, and gain a great common understanding of alternative and available opportunities.

Demonstration area – The 3rd Annual Open Source Plug Fest will be showcased in this area, as well as product demonstration by exhibiting companies.

Roundtable discussions – Join in the discussions on special interest topics, as well as network with colleagues, experts and vendors.

IHE Help Desk Kiosk – Bring your integration challenges to the IHE Help Desk. IHE Profiles can help you work with your vendors to solve your challenges more easily.

“The Doctor is In” booth – Ask-a-Doc a question about open source projects, your "pain points," the latest technological advancements, etc. A schedule will be provided so you will know when “the doctor is in” that has command of the specific area of expertise for the advice you seek!
